Hi. I was wondering how much longer it will take my hair to grow out. I have really curly hair that nearly reaches my shoulders. However recently it has been getting split ends and I am going to get them cut off. My ideal hair length would be a couple inches below my shoulders, so between my current length, my hair texture and the fact that I am getting a little off due to split ends soon, how much longer should it take for it to get that long.
Well hair usually grows half an inch every month, sometimes more but that depends mostly on your diet. So depending on the length in inches of your hair right now you could do the math and see roughly how long it would take to reach your ideal length.

Split ends already? After 6 years of growth I never had any.
How do you care for your hair? Do you condition?
Well I've actual never used conditioner so I prolly should. I do use a shampoo specialized for curly hair. I've been growing it out for about 7 months form relativly short hair.
What texture is your hair? If it if very coarse I suggest a conditioner for people that swim alot. M son has thick, curly, coarse hair. He was having split end and dullness problems. My wife got the conditioner at Wal-mart and it really helped him.
