Well as some of you may remember I basically shaved the back of my head and left the top and bangs last year cause I was an idiot. I haven't gotten trims since and honestly its almost even somehow its amazed me. How exactly does hair even out so well naturally, even Absalom had a rat tail and look at his hair..thats amazing. Also I was wondering if it is true that the very bottom hair in the back (the under layer) grows slower or shorter than the top and rest of the back because thats where a lot of baby hairs are. If this is true its possible that I will have completely even hair in a couple months.
Does anyone know? Thanks. I'll be posting an update soon hopefully.

It sounds like it would condiering that you said it's evening out. I'd say yes it would be even.
The remaining hairs are obviously sad to see that their comrades were trimmed short. Thus, the natural evening follows the natural mourning.

I think it has to do with perception. I thought mine was uneven, but now that it's long, I don't notice, it isn't very apparent, and it no longer bothers me!
