Here it is, in some ways it feels like just yesterday, and in others its seems a loooong road. One thing is for sure I am really glad I found this place to keep me going and inspired.
One pic is a timline from day one, and the other is me yesterday!
Thanks all and Merry Christmas!!

;-) in my own t-shirt design with more than a nod and a wink to Motorhead.
Awesome hair mate! how long are you going to let it grow?
Kudos on the T-shirt too - now... to grab some dark shades - shave the middle of the chin and get a Lemmy beard... :D
Cheers dude, I plan to grow it to bottom of rib cage, maybe belt - we'll see!
Cheers Dave
In my opinion, Dave, you have a really great look just the way you are!
Bill
Thanks Bill, your my hippie hero!!
I love seeing timelines. What program did you use to capture your transformation from a character-filled, confident man to a character-filled, confident, long-haired man?
(Looking good, Dave!)
Shawn (Mr.Crow)
That is some really wild and long hair Dave, looks fantastic! You certainly have your own signature look going, the facial hair and the long hair go together perfectly. Hey since your making such cool t-shirts maybe you need to start your own line of Wildman clothing :)
Take care of yourself Dave and enjoy the holidays
As in the Ace of Spades Dave

Killer looks there, nuttidave! As always!
Simply wonderful, Dave. Congratulations on such a great landmark, and here's to two more years. =)
-James
Thanks James.
Awesome! You've got quite a mane there.
Have you had any trims along the way? What is your goal length?
Thanks masomaze, no trims at all, my goal length is lower rib cage or belt.
Cheers Dave
The timeline is so cool to look at, Dave, I'm glad you put that together. Your hair looks thick, healthy, and as always, WILD!
Mouse
Thankyou Mouse, and keep growing!!
That's quite a transformation! I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it all. The longer hair definitely looks better (as if you didn't already know!).
Like the t-shirt too.
Matt B.
Thanks Matt, I am pleased with the outcome for sure.

Hi Dave
Congrats on your 2 year aniversary and what a great update all the pics together.
Merry Hanukkah
Kevin
Hi Kev, thanks for your comments, Cheers Dave
Dave An amazing change though out the progression of the past two years. Your hair looks great and yes head for the waist or longer. There's no turning back now!
Happy Holidays and Peace!
jonalbear
Thankyou JB, I am wary of going lower than waist as I cycle alot and don't want to snag it. Regards Dave
Wow!! Very impressive, Dave!!
Thankyou very much Randy, take care ~ Dave
I sign that! I had quite similar feelings when I did my two year update on October 21st. Thanks for your reply btw.
Since then I was very looking forward for your 2 year update and I have to admit that it was worth waiting, it's very impressive. One can see your progression from the mohawk very well, it's a very good idea to put all these photos together. I apreciate your wild natural look, it looks awsome and the "bangs" which seem to have reached terminal length already make it even better. I like your style very much, it's very special. Your hair is also in very good conditon, so just keep it growing.
Did you grow out the mohawk or did you cut it off before starting the journey?
Good luck in reaching your goal length.
Regards,
Herb2992
Thankyou for your kind words Herb, I cut the mohawk off in mid December 2 yrs ago, and then grew it with no trims from a Number 1 setting on clippers.
Thanks again, regards, Dave
I can only hope to have hair half as nice as that in another year and 5 months.
i just dont see it.
Well done, how long you aiming for?
You will definately make it, especially as you have youth on your side, just leave it, no trims and it WILL happen. Good luck and thanks.
~ Dave
Your hair is lovely Dave. You have a most unusual mane.
It does not seem to grow in a typical pattern. You appear
to have a chaotic hair growth pattern rather than the
typical single crown. You probably have multiple crowns
which grow in all different directions. This results in a
delightful shaggy look. Anyway, keep growing your mane.
Waist length would look impressive considering how tall
you are.
Scott
Thankyou for the compliments Scott. You could be right about my mop, the great thing is that I don't have to do anything with it at all, I just wash it and leave it and it always comes out the same.
Regards Dave
Hi Dave,
What a fabulous update! Your hair keeps getting better and better, it is taking off in the growth department, and the wild look that you are renowned for is just as evident as ever. Your hair will look amazing as well. You have come such a long ways from a buzzcut in only 2 years.
What a great job on your shirt, you are genuinely blessed in the artistic departmemt.
I would like to add taht it has been a genuine pleasure getting to "know" you on the hyperboard and the team. You have supported me right from the day I joined.
Cheers, and Merry Christmas to you,
David
should have said,
"Your hair will look amazing when it reaches waist length as well", instead of, "your hair will look amazing as well". (error in first paragraph)
(I am TERRIBLE with typos these days, lol!)
Hi Dad!!
Thanks for the kind words, they are much appreciated, its been great to know you too, and also to rub shoulders with so many cool people on this board.
regards Dave
Hey Dave, what a terrific update. What a change!!! I may try to do the same thing for my 2 year update in April...get all those transition pics together. Well done and you look awesome buddy!
Salud and happy holidays.
Max
Hey Max, thanks a bunch for your comments, and I look forward to your next update and the two year one with progress pics.
Take it easy, Dave
Hi Dave,
What a great idea and what a wonderful change a timeline of hair growth. I should of thought of that but I wasn't thinking of taking pics every so often but great to document your hair journey.
Cheers,
John.B
Hey it can be difficult to remember but its only one snap a month. Its a bit like taking a pic of the house before you do it up!!
Thanks for the comments John, Rock on \m/ Dave

Hey Dave that is a very cool timeline! Congratulations of the big 2 year milestone, that is quite an achievement.
Thanks for your comments Chris, they are much appreciated. I'm really enjoying the journey, hope you are well, take care, Dave
I'm totally digging pic 18...that is just a really good photo....kinda hard to see your length in the last photo because of kinda dark lighting...
and w00t for purple mohawks :)
Thanks a lot Kett, yeah pic 18 was taken by a photographer mate of mine so it has an extra something I guess.
Cheers Dave
Hi Dave and what an awesome timeline of your hair growth from the very beginning! After veiwing all those pics I have to say in my humble opinion you look fantastic as a longhair and the style you chose rules:)There is something to say for your Thrashed up hair look as not everyone could pull it off but you can to a "T".I love my long straight hair but if I had the choice of another style yours certainly would top that list.I hope that people close to you say how great you hair looks as it would be a shame if they didn't.Anyway thanks so much for the great post and also to wish you a very Merry Longhaired Christmas:))))))))))))))). As always take care my friend!!!Mark
Thanks so much for your comments Mark, you are one of life's true gentlemen. Pretty much (in fact everyone) around me think I have picked the 'right' look for myself so yes I am chuffed!!, Thanks again and warmest regards to you my rockin buddie \m/

Beautiful Montage, Dave;
I am particularly fond of the black & white photo on the right.
If there was ever evidence that men were meant to wear their hair long and natural, your journey is proof positive !!
Thanks for Sharing
Walter
Thanks so much Walter. You have always been super supportive throughout my journey and for that I am grateful. Happy holidays to you and yours!!
~ Dave
Congratulations at the 2 year mark! I pasted my 2 year mark recently, but didn't do as nice of a update as this! Your long hair looks good on you, much better than the buzzcut days. Next stop, waist length!
Keep on growin'
Bruce
Oh, and Merry Christmas!
Thanks Bruce, and congratulations to you too on your two year milestone.
Regards Dave
