I have had long hair for about 2 years now but have had to keep trimming it for when I was in high school. Now that I am out I am going for the long grow and my hair is a bit past shoulder length. I have straight and fine hair and I just notice every day that my bangs seem extremely thin, especially the ends. My last trim was in May and I take good care of my hair with only using a minimal amount of shampoo and a Pantene Pro-V Thickening conditioner, which has helped quite a bit.
Any suggestions would be very welcomed, but I keep getting urges to get a trim but I dont know if it is in my best interest or if it would even help. I do still want longer hair and will continue to grow it out. What could I do?
You'll have to resist the urge to get the bangs trimmed it won't
make them thicker. As we don't have pics or anything I would imagine you having slightly thinner hair on top and a higher hair line. Only just slightly. So just let it grow and if it starts bugging you go to a good stylist and ask for suggestions on styles and things to make the awkward stage tolerable. Unless of course you want to keep those bangs I am assuming you want it all longand are letting the bangs grow out based on your comment.
Keep us informed and if you can post a pic it's easier to for us
to offer advice.

As Kevin.C says why not post a picture and let us have a look and perhaps offer some advice. We like to keep those trimmers away if we can!
