we are having nasty weather here in central Wisconsin today.
temps are only about 10 degrees and wind up to 40 mph.
also weather service is calling for up to 15 inches of snow.
been a while since it last behaved like a real winter here
but it now seems to be making up for it.
hopefully every one is staying warm and
hope you all have a happy holiday season.
Well batten down the hatches and just stay in the warm and thats the best thing to do this time of year. Certainly beats tryin to struggle around the shopping centres full of silly people!
Cheers,
John.B
You Wisconsin folks are stealing all of my snow!
Okay, not all of it, but the majority. We're getting some here, it's windy, and the temps have dropped, but at least I have all of my holiday shopping finished and I can sit inside and enjoy a cup of tea.
When the weather is less abrasive, perhaps I'll venture out with the snowshoes.
Happy Holidays!
Mouse, the Minnesotan. :-)
Hey Ron;
Thanks for sharing those "Winter Wonderland Photos" yipes !!
Here is a photo of "your" storm when it passed here two days ago.
I have brought in good stock of eggnog and will hide from Holiday Madness behind my gates for the next couple of weeks !!
Merry Christmas to you !!
Walter
Hi Ron, Yeah it's nasty out, when I left work this morning my car
door was frozen shut luckily I got in the passenger side. Then
it was blowing and icy all the way home. You must be much further
north as we're only getting 2 to 4 inches here in Fondy.
And Mouse I'll gladly send you some snow or all of it for that matter. L
Kevin
We've received a little more than a foot since last night up here in Park Falls, WI (60 miles south of Lake Superior), and it's still coming down. They're calling for about 16 inches total accumulation by tomorrow. Not bad. This is more like winter used to be!

P.S.--Happy holidays to everyone here at MLHH, in case I don't post again before the big day!
hey Validus and Kevin C I am about halfway
in between the two of you here in Marshfeild Wis.
Hi Ron,
Before I moved to CA in '77, I used to live in your neighboring state of IL to your "sunny" South (lol), --- although IL ain't any more "sunny" than your beautiful state of WI is... Although I miss all the beautiful lakes (especially the Great Lakes), i DON'T miss those long, cold, snowy winters!!!
In spite of the weather, Happy Holidays to you!!
- Ken in SF
hey Ken yes Illweather is not much better than Wis. weather.
wish I was uot there in sunny Cal with you instead of freezing here.
hugs to you >:D<
