There's a TV commercial on some stations in the U.S. for what I believe is a financial institution of some sort. I don't watch tv much but I saw it when I was visiting my mom (she has a regular tv schedule) and not paying close attention so I missed the name of the sponsor.
Anyway, it starts out in a diner and one of the customers looks out the window and sees the logo of the sponsor floating out over the parking lot. He and other curious onlookers straggle out and each person takes a turn looking at the logo. When they do this, they see themselves reflected in it, but in what is obviously future settings they dream of, such as a career woman seeing herself with children, some guy seeing himself as a doctor, a waitress seeing herself flying an airliner and so on. The message is supposed to be the advertiser will help you realize your dreams. But the last people to gaze into the future are a couple of longhairs. They are reflected back all clean shaven, with haircuts and wearing suits and ties and working in offices. The message is they are currently deficient but they'll get better by turning themselves into corporate executroids.
That commercial steams me every time I see it, twice so far.
I agree with you, those matter make me angry too, again and again, I can't help it. Can't you drop your comment somewhere on behalf of a many ????????????

I laugh every time I see it - when I as the age of the longhairs in the commercial, I had very short hair and was in the army. Today, I'm a longhaired mid-level "corporate executroid"

Bank of America is the perpetrator. Below is a link to the YouTube ad. I hadn't seen this particular one before, but had seen similar ones, so I had a hunch at the brand.
It's sad, the only really bold one was the waitress going on a photo safari. There's another woman who becomes a soccer mom (she does keep her hair, but it's pulled back).

Thanks for finding it.
