my hair is just over 9 months of growth and at the very ends on my left side i can feel some really dry frizzy little hairs and not sure if its time for a maintence cut yet or what should i do?
I have the same thing but its the entire last half inch of the back of my head. I'm personally gonna trim it all off so my hair becomes even so I don't mind that half inch to even 1.5 inches. Its all up to you...try and condition more and if the damage spreads you could get a small trim but don't rush it...theres no reason that the damage won't spread and you can trim it 2 years from now.
Thats my honest opinion.

During washing, perhaps leave in the conditioner (and more in that area) for 5-10 minutes before washing out. On top of that use some spray-in conditioner. I would almost think doing something like this could help alot but don't know for sure because I have never had that condition.
