Hello guys
I posted a few days earlier that I found my hair pretty dry. I asked how to deep-conditioning, Walter came with the olive oil idea, used as you use conditioner but rinse it with conditioner.
Just one more thing. I had to use conditioning 3 times in order to wash the oil away and I think some of the oil smell stuck on my hair. Is there any way to prevent that? or that was me being paranoid?. The thing is, it worked great, I could wear it lose for the last 3 days and it feels great, its time to wash it again but I don't want the oil smell to stick this time. Any suggestions?

Res, that is why I suggested coconut balm. There is no smell and it produces the same effects. You can even add a few drops of essential oil and get any scent you like.
yup, I'll look for coconut balm next time i hit the store! :)

Glad that worked for you.....I got the idea from a member of this board (Sherry) some years ago. Conditioner usually takes care of the residue for me. The Coconut balm sounds like a good idea also.

Use "Extra Light" olive oil rather than "Extra Virgin." The light oil has less flavor, thus smell, than the virgin oil.
