hey everybody. I was just wondering if anyone here can remember the length their hair was, when they could first put it into a full ponytail (bangs and everything). My hair is around chin level now and im just wondering how low my bangs would have to go before they can start to fit into a ponytail along with the rest of my hair. Lately i've been wondering alot about this since it is the style I am going for. All help apreciated, thanks.

My bangs are about an inch past my chin right now (the rest is far past my chin because I haven't had any trims), and I can put them into a ponytail, but only if it's a very high tail. I prefer a lower tail, and I think they need a couple more inches to fit in the hair binder at that height.

You need about 13 inches for your front bangs to reach
the tie of a low ponytail. Try this yourself. Cut
a strip of paper 11 inches long. Lay one end on your front
bangs and pull it over the top of your head. You will see
that it is 1 to 2 inches short of reaching the base of
your head in back.

thanks Scott thats a good tip. Ill try it out and that should give me a good idea of how much longer i need to go before i can start wearing it back in a pony.
Hair does cling together a bit, so 11" may stay in if there
is no wind. You could also cheat by using gel on 11" bangs
to get them to cling to the rest of your hair.

Bangs to coller line for me.
The shape of your head/where your hairline starts can also give or take a few inches on how much you need.
