Hi all, hope you've been having a great new year.
I had asked this question when I firsted joined and located MLHH and was told not to cut it but I think now it's gotten way more noticable and funny looking and I have better pictures for you all to see. I have the parts circled that I am concerned about getting trimmed off. My Sister and Mom ALWAYS refer to it as "that tail part", "you should cut those tail parts off!" and so on.
Well, please let me know your guys' advice on what I should do.

There you have it...
Are you kidding!?Dude, you have perfect straight hair, and you don't have any tangles, which means you'll be able to grow for a great length. As for the ends of the hair, keep them growing,as it is the only way to get long hair,if that's what you want.Best wishes :)
...I wouldn't cut it. Your hairs all grow at slightly different rates and some may have gotten a head start from others and thats what you are seeing. Society has been trained to want cut hair, even hair, whether its long or short. If you use that logic then you would have to cut your hair back to your chin as shown in the second picture. Just my 2 cents.

(Looks perfectly fine, btw)
Thanks for your advice guys, it really makes me feel better about my hair and not feel the need to cut those parts. Thanks again!
I think the best thing to do is just let it grow because it'll take longer for it to reach the length you want if you trim it. As said before, your hair is really straight and tangle-free so you can grow it very long.
P.S. Is that a Mayhem shirt in your avatar? Great music! ;)
Okay, yeah, after reading the responses I am keeping the hair there and not touching it with a blade.
Yes, that's a Mayhem shirt my friend :) Good music indeed.
Your hair looks great mate and beautifully straight and you don't need to trim it. Let it grow out more and see in a couple of years and I don't think you will notice the difference then.
Cheers,

All the best for 2008.

I agree with your sister and mother. You'll be amazed at how much better in lays and how much thicker it will look after a trim. A stylist might not have to cut all of that area off, but instead blend some of it in.
Go to a good, recommended stylist (not just a walk-in place). Professional stylists can do wonders.
