Hey guys..i swear by the product that Andrew Lessman on HSN puts out...it is called Healthy Hair, Skin, and Nails...although it may seem a bit pricy..if you are truly committed to a great mane of hair and overall good health..you will consider this product..i have seen less shedding of my hair and of course more length..it's to my waist..hopefully will get to my knees!! The bigger thing i have noticed is how good my skin is from this product..but you'll have to try for yourselves. It is on HSN on most cable and channel 240 if you have Directv satellite
Well I'm glad that the product works for you and after all it's about personal choice and what works with a great mane like yours.
Cheers,
John.B
Thanks for letting us know of this product. I had never heard of it, that's for sure, but I just grew my hair out by itself.
Your own mane looks fabulous!
Lhfb, thanks for the tip - it obviously works for you as your hair looks incredible, healthy and wonderfully long.
Nice start of a beard for the winter. A sunny snowy day, blue skies, cozy log home, gorgeous hair...who could ask for more!
In addition to the vitamin care, do you have any tips on shampooing, daily care, etc? Have a good weekend and enjoy your hair, Johnnie
i dont have a lot of tips...i dont use shampoo..maybe once every 2 months...Dove shampoo..only wash with warm water and i am probably one of the worst , in my opinion, to the everyday care of my hair compared to what i have read here on the mlhh..i comb through it when it's wet..then finger comb it..i tie it in a segmented ponytail for work..about 8 bands 3-4 inches apart...i never get trims..just let it grow...seems to work for me...the one thing i changed was use of this hair' product'..supplement...i now have less shedding and think it has helped with the life cycle of the individual strands to stay on my head longer..i have good regeneration of hairs..no balding but the shed/regrowth cycle is differnt in last year..hope thats some help
Hello Lhfb, Really helpful info about how you care for your awesome hair without shampooing more than once every two months. Your vitamins, diet and good health - plus the warm water rinses, seem to do wonders. I wonder if other members follow similar regimes? Thanks, Johnnie
It does seem to be working for you! Hair looks very good.
Do you know if there's a declaration somewhere of which vitamins it contains?
i just went to get the bottle..here is the list:
vitamin A 1000iu
vitamin C 100mg
vitamin D-3 100 iu
vitamin B1 4mg
vitamin B2 4mg
Niacin 4mg
vitamin B6 4mg
folic acid 200mcg
vitamin B12 40 mcg
Biotin 3mg 1000% DV
Pantothenic acid 4mg
calcium12mg
MSM 600 mg
silicon 29mg
EGCG 100 mg...its a rather complete formula...the science all suggests that you cant 'apply' something to hair to make it better..it must grow in a healthy way from within
Looks interesting. I have never seen hair vitamins like that here, but I take several of these things in separate pills.
I wonder why they don't sell that stuff here...
I eat Silica pills (I've thrown away the box, so can't see what else is in them, brewers yeast (plenty of b-vitamins) and MSM. I've ordered some biotin tablets, and going to get some multi-vitamins as well.
I think it should be the same in effect.
Very interesting and worth a try I would say. I normally don't get
to bothered by some of these products but based on what I see and
hear from you it must work. After all the health of hair and all
is dependenton on what we put in our bodies diet / vitamins.
thanks
Kevin
Thank for the tip, it looks like it works for you!
Bruce
Thanks for posting this, Mr. Longhairdfarmboy, as I was jus' noticing that some of my hair strands have start'd to "puff" at the tips, much like a cotton swab. That's jus' two heartbeats away from bifurcating, or rather, turnin' into a split end. Any nutrient formula that'll be good for strengthening the hair, the nails, and the skin will, in and of itself, be good for the rest of the vehicle that we skulk around in. Thanks again, man. Good tip.
Appreciatively yours w/ major longhairedness,
Quenyan (RicK)
P.S. ~ Great pic of you and your amazingly long hair outside of your cabin BTW.
