O/T: Another ''got a job'' thread!

I got a job too! It's as a graduate assistant/tutor for English and Latin students at my university. I'm not going to get rich, but by working 14 hrs./week, I will get free tuition/fees for a semester.
It worked out unexpectedly. I was sure I wouldn't be one of the ones picked for only two grad assistant spots available, but somehow I must have made a positive impression on someone along the way. Fate's a funny thing.

  Wow, I think I am the only one who lost students in the begining of 2008 while everybody is getting jobs!!! hehehe I'm kidding, I really lost students and I traveled with my play but the city where I have been was on vacation and the audience wasn't that good for the four days of shows, but, hey the year just started!!! My decision for 2008 is that nothing is going to put me down, tomorrow will be better than today even if everything seems to be dark, I will direct my vision to the positive things like when my fellows get jobs!! This is a reason to celebrate! Congratulations!! It proves that longhairs can happily employed too!!! Kiss!!

  Fate is a funny thing. 5 months ago I didn't think I would get the job I have now as the first interview was let say not my polished best and the hair came up so I figured that takes care of that.
  But here I am. You never really can predict these things can you.
  Best of luck to you and free tuition is always a good thing
  even if for one semester.
