Nice hair.
Mine started to get very straight, to the point where people were asking me if I was straightening it. I assumed it was only because of the extra weight. After two weeks, it got wavy again. This has happened more than once.
I think sometimes, hair does what it wants. Maybe it's because of the weather. Where I live, it's 28 degrees one day, and 70 the next.

I'm not sure why, but I've seen other peoples hair do that too it
straightens out when it gets longer but remains curly at the ends.
It looks really good and very healthy and shiny.

As to it becomming straighter, it WILL the longer it gets and the further it can hang from the below neck area and shoulders.
Took mine 3 years before all of the flips finally settled down.

wearing your hair in a tail for a while can make it straighter. my hair is wavy but when i come home from work and take out my tail my hair is straighter and alot flatter.

Your hair will become straight due to the longer it gets as this is called gravity that weight it down straight that why your hair will become more straighter......... It suits you both ways down and tied back in a ponytail I like the earring to looks cool never seen one like that before I wear a sleeper in my left ear from time to time hmmmmm ponytail does look good as you can show the cool earring of

What a great update, and your hair is filled with shine and grows quickly. You have come a long ways for 21 months.
As for your observation, it is entirely normal that hair seems to get straighter as it grows longer. This is all due to gravity, with the weight of the hair pulling on the waves.
