Hello again :)
It's me but this time I have no update to make.
A looooooong time ago I found a video that shows quite well how to shampoo your hair in a good way. Almost everything is explained well and is right.
Except the comb thing (you will see it in the video).
I would NEVER EVER comb or even BRUSH WET hair...
It does so much damage to your hair...
Here you are :)
Here my routine for washing my hair:
1. First of all I soak it very well.
2. I do the Petrosage seen in the video.
3. I delute a mild shampoo (containing NO silicons - there are some "normal" shampoos containing no silicons but I'm using organic stuff only) in a bottle with some water.
4. Shampooing
5. Rinsing through
6. Applying conditioner (again organic and containing no silicons)
7. Waiting for 5-10 minutes...
8. Rinsing through again
Done :)
It was awesome to read how YOU wash your hair and condition it :)
Let it grow *yay*

Thank you for sharing this video, Neo. Judging by the quality of your hair, it certainly works. I'll have to give it a try tomorrow... =D

Very nice but I have a couple of points of contention:
1. Silicones, which you seem to want to avoid, are harmless. The idea that they are somehow bad, is baseless. I challenge anyone reading this to cite a scientifically robust source that says otherwise. I would get a bottle of the stuff and use it all the time in pure form but silicone as a liquid is real expensive. When I search for conditioners I look for ones with silicone variations as their main ingredients.
2. You can get a comb designed for detangling that has widely spaced thin teeth and it is designed to give, and bend when you hit a snag so you can stop before tearing anything. I do less damage with one of those then I do with my fingers.
It doesn't HARM the hair. First of all there are some silicons that are water soluble. BUT those who AREN'T water soluble are widly spread in shampoos and especially conditioners. You get a silicon BUILD UP on your hair which isn't easy to remove.
Silicons HIDE hair damage like split ends.
You start noticing it when you start using silicon free shampoos and conditioners. You'll find more split ends then before. They aren't caused by the shampoo, they only were hidden by silicons.
I never said that they HARM the hair or are VERY BAD.
I just don't want plastic hair and I want healthy hair.
I even wouldn't use such a comb. It may sound good. But combing wet hair is a DON'T.
Everyone who has some knowledge about hair will tell you so.
I only comb/brush my hair when it's completly dry.

Silicones get a ton of debate on the long hair community. I respect the opinion of anyone who doesn't want them on their hair.
I would say though, that it's wrong to say that everyone should use silicone-free products. My experience is that there are several that make my hair look better throughout the day, because my somewhat wavy, somewhat thick hair tends to be flyaway without some help. Even when I had it cut very short, the appearance without silicones would be "fuzzy" or "furry". So anyway, it works for some of us.
That being said, I keep on hand some shampoo and conditioner without any of that stuff in it. Used intermittently, for some reason it helps the other stuff I use look better. Maybe there's a clarifying effect there. I think some variety helps, rather than sticking exclusively with one or the other.
YMMV,
Chris
