  I sent out an earlier thread about long hair in the Dutch Army, then I read something about the Swiss Army having long hair in 1992. Mind you this is a conscript rather than professional army.

    I remember as far back as the 1970's that the Dutch army allowed conscripts to keep long hair, provided they wore it in hair nets but I'm not sure about the Swiss army's stand on this.

      I have a Swiss army greatcoat that I bought at the surplus store. Maybe if they can have long hair I might be mistaken for a deserter, LOL!
