Guys and gals from MLHH,
As you might remember sometime ago I have posted 2 times about dandruff, just on the scalp, I'm pretty sure it's not Seborrheic dermatitis. However, I tried two times with diferent things, the very first time a shampoo with Zinc pyrithione (Head & Shoulders) and the second time with Piroctone olamine (An Elvive Anti Dandruff Shampoo), but it's still coming back, if I without washing my hair for a day I can see the flakes all over the place wich seems to be a problem because I really love dark clothes and dating with dandruff can be an issue.
I'm about to get out to get a Ketoconazole shampoo, but not sure if it will work. I'm also trying to take the best care for my hair, scalp and health, I'm eating healthy, popping vitamins everyday and really taking care of myself.
Now, when I'm starting to really like how my hair looks (ending of awkward stage) I still get flakes. Anyone has a suggestion or something that could help me?.
Thanks.
R.-
Hello !
I have Seborrheic dermatitis :(
something that works for me for extreme situation :
put 2 teaspoon of honey in a glass ans the same amount of vinegar, complete with warm water and put that thing in your hair, especialy on your scalp , massage gently, put a towel on your hair and let rest for 1 hour. wash your hair with an anti dandruff shampoo or a soft shampoo and condition.
Honey combined with water is a very good antiseptic , it's will kill the fungi that make the dandruff, vinegar will make you'r skin ph better and fungi will have more dificulty to come back.
/!\ Caution : honey can lighten you'r hair a bit if you do it too munch time or too many times /!\
You should see a dermatologist anyway, it can solve the problem quickly !

I used to get dandruff all the time, immediatly once i stopped using head and shoulders. I wanted to use conditioner but i would always get dandruff if I did, so i now use Nizoral. Its a dandruff shampoo that you only need to use once a week. It kills the bacteria that causes dandruff, rather than just eliminating it for a day. I have been using Nizoral for months now and it works excellent, I have absolutly no dandruff what so ever. I would recommend trying it.
