Dear all,
as you might have guessed by my nick I'm undecided weather to let my hair grow or not. Their not really long to your standards yet at all.
I'm from a family in which all men sooner or later lost nearly all of their hair, so my thought is go for it, while I've still got them. But I am worrying that the receding has already begun. What to you think?
I've attached a photo. I hope it shows up.
Reguards to all.
Well, I'd say it will come eventually just by looking at your picture but I wouldn't be too worried, it's not like it's going to go any time soon. I say you should grow it! Have fun with it while you can still enjoy it!
It depends how old you are. That much receding on a 40 year old would be nothing remarkable, but on a 20 year old it would be more of a worry. So, don't tell me, you're only 20, right?
There are treatments these days, but I can't tell if you are a candidate just from the pic, and frankly the person to ask is a doctor, not us.
Not quite 22
Well, a receding hairline is very normal for about 50% of all men. You really should see a dermatologist for further evaluation. If you are experiencing genetic realated hair-loss then Propecia might be an option for you. If you think you are experiencing hair-loss you might want to see a Doctor soon as it is much easier to keep what you have than to regrow what is lost. Nevertheless, don't let any of this stand in the way of growing your hair out. Go for it!

Also remember some people are born with hairlines that start quite far back. a girl at the school i go to has a very high hairline and some people joke that shes going bald etc.
