I am turning grunge...and when you turn grunge you are supposed to let your hair grow long and not wash it...what would u say would be the minimum amount that i could wash it and still call myself grunge?
"Turning grunge?"
Right.
Uh.
The only way I'd be more amused is if you said you were turning 'metal'. Honestly, if you're growing your hair out because you're 'supposed to' to be 'grunge' and fit a sterotype, maybe you should think more about what you want that a 'required' thing. D:
Nah you're not turning grunge, you're turning into a poseur.
Seriously. If you have to ask someone else what you're supposed to look or act like, in order to be a certain "type" of person, you aren't really what you're trying to become. Quit trying to "turn" into anything but a more authentic YOU.

Lol grunge music is the best. I don't think many of them went without washing their hair, take a look at Jerry Cantrell and Mark Lanegan. I'm sure they washed their hair. I don't know about the less mainstream grunge bands though like Gruntruck and Green River, their hair looks pretty dirty sometimes.
