Hey everybody! I came across this site by accident. Check it out.
Here is a more direct link to the long hair section.
Folks,
Regarding men in kilts quoted from her site:
"The wrapping paper can make the package look more appealing... and the just the right wrapping will make someone want to unwrap you."
Damn!
Now how can anyone argue with that!
Thanks Reflective for posting the link.

Does Madoc have a twin named LongHair Scott? They both have long hair & moustache & goatee. And they both wear Utilikilts! Also, they both are interested in aerospace and the military.
from another satisfied owner of a Black neo-traditional utilkilt (the type that wraps, not the style with the fly) sorta similar to what you got on there!
Pictures coming soon as I can find a digital cam to borrow off someone!
You can get some really good buys on digital cameras and
scanners now. Many good sales will also be coming up.
Ofcourse I can not speak for other women.
But I like "rough" looking manly semi-modern men!
And skilt or renaissance clothing does defenitally not attract me!!
Like the article says, I am tired of being an interchangable drone of society...hence the long hair, and Kilts! I have found women love em, other men hate to see other men in them for some reason, along with the other articles they mentioned, like leather pants, flowing shirts, and other clothing that accenuates the male figure and makes them look good...I guess it's just jealousy or something. That they don't have the nerve to wear something like that, and have all the gals jump all over them!
It seems as thought time will be shifting men back in the direction of being a little bit more "showy". With the shift of the workforce out of factorys, and into "desk" jobs...the information age and such( and of tolerant bosses to alternative dress outside of the boring suit/tie, and acceptance of long hair) Any mideval event, keltic hearitage festival, or Rennisaunce faire clearly shows the increasing popularity of this type of culture. And the simple fact that more and more men are getting tired of the old suit.
I wore a utilkilt to work a few times, and got complements. My boss didn't mind it a bit, I also have long hair, along with a few other co-workers around here. I work at an audio-visual company, so I guess it's a bit more accepted being in a "technology" company. But I still am slowly seeing more acceptance.
My only fear with this is that it could go too far, and men could end up being forced to wear articles and things that require excessive time to put together, or could be unhealthy...like the article said that men used to wear heels...definitely unhealthy, no matter what gender wears them. Neither me and or my gal enjoys makeup. She says it is simply too much of a hassle to get it right. I would hate to see men get obligated to wear it. like many women feel.
If I were a Christian, I'd say AMEN BROTHER!
I have long hair (kept neat), wear kilts often, have beard/moustache (kept neat), and wear earrings in both ears. I do NOT like the "rough", unkempt look in the slightest - sloppy is sloppy.
Needless to say, I get a lot of reactions, mostly positive from
the gals, including my wife, and mixed among men. Some like it, while others are obviously threatened by it.
This is a conversation that takes place frequently on the kilted men's boards.
One final comment ('cause I can't resist), I won't ever wear a tie again UNLESS it is a matter of survival. If I have a personal "crusade" beyond long hair, earrings, and kilts, it's banning the necktie!
