Hey everyone,
Lately I've been growing a beard. My facial hair grows so slowly though, and it's quite patchy as well. It's been growing for about 2 months, or maybe longer. I don't know what to do with it though. It's too patchy to have a full beard I think, and I've had just the goatee for a long time, so I was hoping to try a new style. What do you guys think would look best?
Thanks for your input.
I think it all comes down to preference really, but IMO, I'd stick with a goatee (upper lip and chin) and shave the sides, if you want to have any facial hair at all, otherwise, just shave.
It's not full nor has the coverage and I guess it captures the 'grunge/Seattle' look, if you leave it as is. Again, not saying it's a bad look, it really comes down to peoples' preferences.
I hope a few girls and gay guys reply as well as I think they're a better judge of good looks. LOL
It's a darn good thing that the hair on top of our heads doesn't grow in as patchy, LMAO
It's really personal choice mate. I kept to a goatee as I found a fill beard too itchy and that's not for everyone.
I hope that helps.
Cheers,
John.B
Hey Brazjol what's the guage that your sporting in those lobes? I love those flared tunnels, looks like about a zero. Looks like you could wear a chin curtain on the beard, with or without the stach.

Thanks. Yes, it's a 0 gauge.
Seems you grow facial hair about as well as I do. For now, I'd say the goatee will suit you just fine. Give it a few years and your beard should fill in. =)

Try shaving the cheeks, but leave the sideburns there, just connecting to the goatee. It will give you a great high-maintenance look, but with low maintenance!
I have also been growing mine for about the same time, and mine is also patchy, probably the same exact pattern as yours has grown so far. I would just keep it growing and just trim it once in a while and eventuall it will prbly even itself out after growing it a while longer
I think a goutee works well for you so I say go with what works.
I attempted a full beard once and like John B it was too itchy and I didn;t care for how it was looking. It's like the hair on our heads some look really good and some of us struggle.
