I'm looking for someone to help occasionally with tasks on the site. If you have been hanging out here awhile, know the Linux shell, and would be interested in helping (hey, it's a great cause!), please drop me a line.

Nah, don't know Linux. But in my lab, I need to learn it in order to use a Linux computer to process data...so maybe in 9 weeks I might be able to help...
I'm using Linux to post this, as it takes up half of my hard drive (Vista on the other half), but I'm not too clued up using the terminal...
Hi Bill,
As I'm sure I've mentioned before I work with SUSE Linux everyday and support customers that use Linux server and Novell services running on top of that.
Cheers,
John.B
John,
You sound like you work at a Novell shop. I am currently working on setting up a project to move my Organization off of their older NetWare 6.5 servers over to VMware / OES-2. I live and breath Linux. The world looks better at the CLI. :-)
Are you going to Novell BrainShare in March?
Hi there,
I worked for WordPerfect and they were taken over by Novell and I worked for then until 1997, so about 6 years.
The company I work for is split 50/50 with Netware and Microsoft products. I'm sure the migration will be a piece of cake for your them.
After working for a company based in Utah I choose my to return to moron land and to be honest it's a bit over priced.
Cheers,
John.B
I can offer a hand, just send a shout.

Nice new picture. And it sounds like you are a wizard at the keyboard, using them computer boxes.
Bill,
I live and breath Linux. I'd love to help, problem is, I am so busy at work, that I am burned out when I get home in the evening. Maybe once my workload drops, I may be able to help. :-)
Mike
Thanks for the interest, to all who replied! I'll contact you each by e-mail in the next few days.
