Just another small update...
This is also what I meant in earlier posts about my hair looking great the second day after washing my hair (shampoo and conditioner)
I guess on the second day my hair has had enough natural oil distributed to the ends making them a bit heavier? I dunno but It always looks great the next day and the day afterwards.
I usually shampoo and condition every 2 or 3 days. like Sunday I'll was my hair.. and wont wash it again until Tuesday or so.
Oh well.. can't wait till it's longer :D Feb 1st will be first double digit month (10 months) since my buzz cut. w00t!
I'm pretty sure what makes you hair looks straighter on the second day is that you sleep putting your head very tight to the pillow,making it straighter and de-tangling some parts,including the back.Anyways,your hair is looking great and health,keep on posting.Peace :)
I actually prefer the way it looks right after drying. More volume. ^^
It looks healthier the day after though, I'll admit. Either way, it's great looking hair. ^_^

As your hair has a curl to it you'll have this until it gets much longer then gravity will pull it down straighter. I know of other people who feel they look better a few days after a hair wash so your not alone. It looks goof though so keep growing it will look awesome later on.

Your hair is looking a little similar to mine when it was that length. You'll be in for good long hair in another year or so. Keep it growing and let us know how your wash routine is working for you. =)

Ah yes... i noticed your hair is very similar to mine (checked out your website) I'm close to where you where at right now at the month I'm in... difference is I started growing with almost no hair (buzz cut) heh.
Unfortunately I live in Miami beach.... so I get humidity and heat every day and that makes my hair look horrible.... - can't wait till it's longer though.
But I feel the wash routine is actually pretty nice... - I let my hair make its own oil and even when I come out of the shower and it's dry that first day... it doesn't feel nasty... it's soft and has a lot of volume though.
I had the same problem at that stage, 1st day frizzies and wings, 2nd day much better. It gets better with length, hang in there.
