Music legend George Harrison has died. This brings back many
memories from the Beatles years. The many battles with
TPTB at school when I grew my hair long despite what the school
wanted......
I agree 100%, as speaking from first hand experience, I was in school from 1957 thru 1969, when I graduated from High School.
I remember, as if it were yesterday, the Beatles performing on the
Ed Sullivan Show. What a fantastic event that was. My parents complained about the Beatles - both music and hair........
I was glued to the old "Black & White" tv, and that is what helped
the now a day movement of long hair.
GEORGE HARRISON WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED, AND REVERED.............
I remember all the static me and my fellow classmates received upon our own voyage into the realm of long (short by todays standards) hair.
Any one asking for more input, I speak from 50+ years of experience.
L O N G L I V E L O N G H A I R.....................
LONG LIVE FREEDOM AND LONG HAIR, THANK YOU GEORGE HARRISON FOR SETTING THE GROUNDWORK
Amen brother.
