Hi All,
I am new to this forum. To be frank i havent read any of the messages before i post.
ok here is my question. i live in canada but i'm not a canadian. i'm an east indian, here for work.
I tried having long hair, never cut my hair for 8 months.my front side was growing but but backside was not.
It looks good only when you have long hair on both the sides. is it because of my gene, i'll never have a long hair or is there anyway that my wish comes true.
i dont really need a long hair like a women but a hair with which i can atleast have a pony tail...
your answer to my questions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance
Welcome, Bala. The hair on the top of your head grows faster than at your neck and sides. Give it more time and you'll be able to have it all in a ponytail (which turns out to be more hair than a lot of women have these days).

Sounds genetic, but, pics would be nice.

Hi Jeff n all,
my current picture... ofcourse i've cut my hair but i'll grow again if i kno for sure my hair will grow longer
Looks like you have a great head of hair. Keep it growing.

You have to be patient and let it grow 8 months is not enough to know what it will do.

one more picture of mine....
i can buy any medicine if i kno for sure it grows faster and can make it happen
Hello bala nad welcome to the MLHH!
I think yo would be able to grow long hair without a problem. IOne of my best friends is a (east indian) Sikh, and he has never cut his hair. It is to his waist when he took it down. He has the personality to go with his hair also.
Good luck with your own hair. Just stay away from scissors and you'll be well on your way. Patience is key here. There will be a length of time where your hair is at an awkward length and not much can be done to control it. Once you get passed that, you'll soon be able to wear the ponytail you have always wanted. I am getting close to that point myself.
Best of luck,
Patrick.
