  i've been lurking for a while here as i've been growing my hair, and gotta say thanks for the help this site has been. there's probably a good chance i would have cut my hair (some anyways) by now without it. thanks all

  for most of my life i've had a buzz cut but sometime last spring i finally decided that was enough. i'm currently in the awkward phase with hair frequently in my eyes (to my mom's constant complaints as well) and am aiming for shoulder-length.

  unfortunately i don't remember specifically when my last buzzcut was so i don't know how many months this is. my guess is late spring, which would make me at about 8 months.

    GREAT HAIR!!! You have the hair to grow it long and it will look better the longer it gets. Have fun.

    You have just the right textured hair for easy growing. If this is your "awkward phase" then you
    have been spared what most people have to go through. In fact
    it's just the right texture and most would love to have this kind of hair.

    Well good luck on your growing, It should turn out just fine since u obviously have the perfect hair to grow.
