Hello my name is Frank, I turned 52 today and I reside in Palestine TX. I've always wanted to grow my hair out and in Sept. '07 I decided why not now. I think the last bad Layer cut I had was in May '07 and this is how it has grown out since. I hope I got the HTML right for the Pic's.
I'm going for Collarbone length in the front and about Shoulderblade length in back. I'm a Quadriplegic from a motorcycle accident back in 1978. I don't have real use of my hands, but can hold a brush somewhat, I'm think this length is all I'll be able to handel. I've never asked anyone how to care for my hair, so from a Google search I found this forum. I have learned a little about cones, SLS and other bad habits I had. So thanks to all for sharing their info.

Your hair looks awesome! It is so thick and healthy, with great natural waves and curls, and you need never worry about hair loss. Whatever you are doing, it is certainly working for you.

Welcome to the board Frank and from the pics you have really great hair so growing it should not be a problem. Because it's got some curl to it it may take some time but a reasonable goal you have set for yourself.
