Hello all!
So, here's an update for me - My 17th month of growing! Since August 13, 2006 I've been growing strong and trying to be patient. Comments, advice, and recomendations are welcome and appreciated!
Here's the pics:
(Sorry they're so big)
And this one below is my FIRST pony tail!!!! ^_^
Have a good evening,
Hegg
You are doing well and your looks good. The pony tail is fine.
However PLEASE post your pictures the right way up - my head hurts!
Your hair looks great! But... do you shave the front bit of your hairline? It looks like you do in the pictures, but I could be wrong.
I have yes; that is due to the fact I suffer from OCD, so it's someting I MUST do or I will go crazy. I've done it for most of my life since I've been diagnosed with OCD, I can't really help it much. But thanks for your comments!
Hi Hegg,
Well apart from our friend with the cricked neck the update pictures are very good. You hair is well kept and amazinh condition and so shiny very str8 as well. You well on your well and you've got a great head of there. Do keep it growing. Always good to see a Scandinavian flag in the back ground.
Cheers,
John.B
Hi Hegg,
Your hair is awesome! It is perfectly straight, has lots of shine, and grows fast as well, and congratulations on the tail! You should be able to grow your hair a LOT longer, and I hope you do so.
Keep it growing,
David
Thanks David! Yes, I do indeed plan to grow it a lot longer. I don't think I'm ever going to cut it again and just grow til' death. Thanks again!
That is simply gorgeous hair. I like the Norwegian flag backdrop, too. Nice creativity. Congrats on the tail, and keep it growing, Hegg. =)

Thank you, it means a lot to me. I love Norway as you can see in those pics XD, my family comes from Lillehammer, Norway. Thanks again, James!
Wow, that is a thick ponytail. It will be thicker still when all (well nearly all) your hair can reach the tie. It is very unlikely, that any one here, me included, has more than 90% of it reaching the tie. This is because new shorter hairs are always growing in to replace ones that have been previously shed, and need to reach a minimum length of 14" or so to reach the tie. It is likely to be even lower, more like 80%, even for us with waist length or longer. Hair clings together well, so it will look like all of it reaches the tie.
Your hair looks fantastic and looks totally straight. Your type of hair is the easiest to grow to waist length and beyond. Keep growing it for sure.
Scott
You are doing fantastic for 17 months and have the greatest hair to work with. Simply put..........superb! Sorry the photos came out sideways, but we can surely tell that you have magnificent long hair.
Perfectly fantastic Hegg! Healthy and full of shine. You'll have no trouble growing it as long as you want.
Bruce
Nice update - it would've been nicer had you rotated everything a bit, though.
I've not seen many Norwegians with such brown eyes! Interesting to know that your family is from Lillehammer. My paternal family is mostly from Setesdal and Hardanger (and the maternal is first-generation Irish) I'm guessing that you live in either the states or Canada? I've been living in Minnesota for a while, but I'll be going to the university of Telemark this spring.
I also liked seeing the flag backdrop.
Thanks! Yes, my computer program was down so I couldnt edit the photos :( Sesesdal and Hadanger, beautiful places I must say. I live in Minnesota as well! Good luck with your schooling in Telemark!
oh my! did you straighten your hair?? it looks fabulous!
Nope, that's natural. I am just lucky to have it!
Nice hair=)love the colour
Are you by any chance from norway?....since you have norsk in your name and that flag in the background=)
God helg!(have a great weekend)
A
Thanks!
Yes, I am :)
Tusen Takk!
The hair looks in great condition you've done well. Patients is the best advice I can give and it looks like your past the worst of the awkward stage.
Kevin
Great hair update Hegg.
I will send you my physio's invoice when my neck is fixed.
Cheers Dave
