I'm going to Rite Aid today and am going to look over the hair moisturizing products and oils. I am really interested in recommended brands for leave in conditioners....maybe I should alternate daily use between 2 of these or oil 1 day and leave in conditioner another. So, what brands that I would find in a store are recommended?

For daily use, Infusium 23 is good. Very lightweight; you don't even feel it but it works.
I went to the store today and bought Infusium 23-thanks for the help! I just updated my 7 1/2 year picture today so that I can see the difference it makes in 6 months to a year (link below).

One other thing you might try, Marty, is henna. You hair looks quite similar to mine, and I read your post about damaged hair. Mine is damaged and after 6 1/2 years I'm barely at mid-back. I've been using Surya Henna Cream for about 6 months now and the condition of my hair has improved dramatically. Feel free to e-mail me if you'd like more info.

Your hair's longer than mine and I've been growing it longer!! Sounds like you know what you're doing! What's a typical weekly routine for you when it comes to moisturizing your hair. I do water washes and now conditioner washes every night and then shampoo and use Aussie's 3 minute miracle deep conditioner once a week. I do these at night an hour or so before I go to bed so my hair dries naturally and then sleep with it in a very loose ponytail so that most of the night I'm not laying on the ends of my hair. In the morning I finger comb it and spray the ends with Infusium 23 leave in conditioner. After another hour when it's dry I tie it up into a tighter ponytail and then slick it back with more Infusium 23 leave in conditioner and water. After 8 hours of work I take my hair out of the ponytail and finger comb it. Then I have started putting a little bit of virgin olive on the tip of my hair to moisturize it.
Is this ok to do EVERY day? How would I work the Henna cream into this?
