I have a few more that deal with mid/awkward length hair, if anyone is interested in seeing them.
fifth and second pics are my fave!! (redheads MUST let their hair grow! :D )
I was just about to write the same thing! The hair in pics 2 and 5 is so healthy looking. If all long haired men could have hair like that, then there'd be fewer bad opinions about it...
I was just wishing that 20th century frock coats would come back into fashion. And here's a designer doing just that.
Carol
You know, I actually like that. Most of the other things are either too weird or too conservative.

Frock coats are cool! The design originally developed in the 20th century to allow a man to ride horseback, hence the cutaway front. Some are curved like the model is wearing. Others are straight across at the waist, with a long back that hangs like an apron. They fasten in front with 1 or 2 button or frog type closures. The back is split with tucking or gathering, and often decorated with buttons or a clasp. I think the cut and style really suit (pun not intended) the male physique, which is why I am happy to see someone attempting to bring them back into fashion. Can morning coats (thigh to knee length jackets) be far behind? As the ZZ Top song goes, "Ev'ry girl's crazy 'bout a sharp-dressed man". :-)

Thanks for posting these very cool pics of longhaired guys on the runway.Actually I'm a big fan of Dior Homme as I have a fairly large collection of their jeans as well as some shirts. The stuff ain't cheap but the fit is awesome.Dior used longhaired models from time to time over the years as it was always great to see that.It wasn't always guys with very short business styles like you might usually see.Anyway I guess I'll have to look at the complete season for Dior this year just to see if the longhairs rule:)Thanks again as I can't recall anyone ever posting something like this here.Oh and this I guess is my favorite.Mark
I'm glad you liked the pics Mark. And it's cool to find a Dior Homme fan here!
I was so sad when Hedi Slimane left Dior. It was one of my favorite lines because Hedi knew how to make men look sensual and intellectual. There is no replacement for him tbqh.
I hope Kris Van Asche will do better next season. The hammer pants were a huge misstep. >_<
But at least he put some long haired models in his show!
And speaking of long haired models, I'm glad Paul Smith used them in his show too. I love seeing long haired men in suits. It's perfection.
Hi Sillage,
Yes I certainly fell in love with Dior Homme jeans and some of their other clothing.Like usual every designer puts out some off the wall stuff but Heidi certainly had a great eye for fashion.Hopefully his replacement won't rock the boat too much. Thanks again for posting these cool longhaired runway models.Mark

OK I give up but the one I meant was the redheaded longhair.
This should work. HTML is not very forgiving if a part of the tag is missing or incorrect.

oh, how i wish guys walked around like this all the time...
most of these models actually do have the long hair you see in these pictures. i find it funny that so many people are so anti long hair for men, but designers love to have that long hair to show off thier clothes.
What's with all the flood-pants? I can remember when that was very uncool.
...what can you say? So many people think it's edgy and witty. I think it's awful! I will never understand why the fashion world loves this line.
Thank you for posting all the great pics!
The hair in pic 2 is just amazingly georgous. I wish my hair was that same dark color.
I also like the red hair and texture in pic 5.
Thanks so much for posting these fashion photos. This is exciting to see the designers being inspired by long hair. I imagine that most of the designers have always adored long hair like we do, but they have to follow the "fashion" most of the time. Now they have ordained that long hair is "in". What I love about mlhh is that we transcend fashion and have true belief in ourselves and our own personal "style" (which is unaffected by "fashion"). The clothes shown, by the way, look great with the long hair! Thanks again, Johnnie
