8 months now without a haircut and a few months without a shave and I hear that my mother in law made a comment already, lol. Not surprised. There's no need to look like that, she say's ( not directly to me though ). When is he going to cut it ? blah, blah, blah, etc, etc..... Hahaha, makes me laugh.I'm sure you've all heard it before. Holy crap I'm 37 years old, what does it matter ? That just encourages me more, lol ! That's how I looked 14 years ago when I first met her daughter. Some people are sooooooooo concerned about other peoples looks, it's almost like racism ! lol Just thought I'd share, later !
lol come to think of it, it actually is like racism, because us long hairs can be considered a race all on our own. Today there are so many weird styles out there, and yet long hair is such a "disgrace" etc. For instance, if people can get away with things like pants that sag past their ass, and be accepted for that, then why is long hair such a turnoff lol
Yeah, some people are just thick and think that any deviation from the norm is unsavory.
Those comments will turn into positive ones the more dedicated you are, and the longer your hair becomes. People used to tell me all the time, "your hair will look so bad if you grow it out", yet now those same people tell me to never cut it off.
Well that's just the way of live with some people these days any deviation from the norm people do make negative comments. At the end of the day you are doing if yourself not them.
