A few months ago, for reasons I still don't understand, I got a hair cut. My long hair, which was down almost to my waist, is now only about an inch long. I want to grow it out again, but I'm wondering what the best way to start would be. I want it all one length, like it was before, so should I get another hair cut to get started? right now, my hair is really short on the sides and spikey on the top. Also, do you guys have any tips for getting through the awkward stage? I've seen people who use that stuff(don't know what it's called) to slick their hair back. Would that help?
Thanks
I did the same thing you did last march. I'm in the last phase of the awkward stage. I just made up my mind not to let it feel awkward because I knew it was worth it. Seeing all these people out in public with the short hairstyles that are all scrunched up and lookin like they just got out of bed also helps to not feel so awkward. It's like, at least I don't look like that!
hey dude you might want to buzz all your hair to even it out and then start growing it so it wont look uneven , but thats just my opinion...
Happens all the time we get a lot of these and many long time posters had a similar experience. You could buzz it all off like has been suggested or just let it grow and ave the trims for a later date.
It's a hard lesson to learn

Hope this helps =D

... just let it grow, you'll never notice that 1 inch difference when it gets a bit longer.

Just let it grow mate!
