I have shoulder length wavy hair. I love heavy metal and want to wear heavy metal band beanies. How do you wear beanies with long hair? I tried and it looked ridiculous. The beanie clung to my head and my hair poked out in all directions. How does Jay from Jay and Silent Bob (Dogma) manage to wear them with his hair still hanging down. I even tried tucking my hair in the beanie but there was way too much of it. Thanks all.
Jay, whose hair's well passed 'is shoulders, is able to do it bekawz, wehyull, his air's well passed 'is shoulders! Silent Bob, nee Kevin Smith, the writer/producer/director, actually has short hair. He's able to do it bekawz he wearsa a fall FOR 'is role AS Silent Bob, or clip-on long hair piece. Ta-daaa!

She makes all kindsa stuff, including tams (those Rastafarian hats) and cufis (men's skulcaps), an' other items, all crochet'ed. I'm not sayin' buy, buy, buy, jus' to get an idea. I've commission'd her B4 and here's what she made me. It's a multi-color'd tam, w/ a star pattern at the crown ya can't see in the pic attached. My choice and preference of colors. AarTiana did a beautiful job.
She is, indeeeeed, a Crochet Goddess! And she has my relentless thanks. I wear it both ways; my hair tuck'd into it OR left outside trailing passed my shoulders ... jus' ta give ya an idea, Zach. Enjoy.

I lean back so my bangs are kinda tucked back and just put the hat on, it's a great look, winter or summer! :)
As a huge Jay and Silent Bob fan, I am very familiar with Jay's look. Two things strike me.
The first is that his hair generally looks as though it's tucked behind his ears before he puts on his beanie, and second is that his hair is not all that thick or wavy.
Try the hair tucked behind the ears thing and let us know if that helps.
