For those of you that have been interested in taking biotin, you might also be interested in using biotin shampoo and conditioner. I just bought some, its called Jason Biotin Shampoo and conditioner, kinda hard to find but well worth the try. Plus it is completely environmentally friendly since ALL the ingredients are natural. There are no sulfates or anything that strips the hair of nutrients. Also they do not condone animal testing, or use animal by-products. I will keep you guys posted on whether it makes a difference or not.

It might keep your hair clean, but the biotin in it will not cause faster hair growth. Biotin supplements taken by mouth have no proven efficacy for hair growth and no real scientific evidence to support their use. Topical biotin (as in a shampoo) has been studied even less. I'm an M.D. who has reviewed the actual medical literature (there are 800 studies thus far), and in my opinion (for what it's worth) people would be better off saving their money, unless by using biotin products the psychological benefits to the individual are worth the extra cost to them.
Well the biotin may not have a drastic effect on anything, but the natural ingredients will be better to use on my hair then silicones and chemicals. Apparently biotin is known to make hair and nails grow healthier and stronger, but i guess ill wait and see what happens.

Don't expect much. The commonly held belief that biotin makes hair and nails grow healthier and stronger is not based on fact. Few people who buy these products are repeat customers over the long term.
