Well, here we are at a year-and-a-half of hair growth. After delayering my hair around two weeks ago, I'm excited to see where these next six months will take me. While I lost quite a bit of length in the back, I have less tangles than I did before, my hair's a lot healthier looking, and I don't have to wash my hair as frequently. I went from washing my hair everyday (if I didn't, my hair tangled like crazy and looked awful) to washing every 2-3 days, depending on the oil in my hair. I also switched from washing my hair in the mornings to washing it in the evening, so no more wet head when I go to class!
Also, I just got my progressive bifocals a few days ago. Turns out that they didn't put anti-glare in my lenses, so we're having to order those, so the new lenses should be arriving in a few days. Besides the awful glare from lights and computer screens, they've been fantastic, and I'm adjusting to them very rapidly. Surprisingly, I'm not having a lot of problems with hairs getting hung in them. It's only happened once, but that's when I first got them (on Sunday).
Anyway, here are my update shots.
Hey Brandon, your hair is looking great as usual. I'm probably going to spring for the "all one length" cut once my hair gets a good deal longer (probably around upper or mid back). I hope your new glasses don't become too frustrating. Have a good one!
Peace,
Ryan
Cool! I used to have a pair very similar to those, but they eventually broke. =( Anyways, your hair is looking really great after that trim, Brandon. Glad to hear things are working out for you, and I hope classes and all that are going well. Stay well and keep it growing. =)

Hair is great. I hated no line bifocals. I got the old school ones now and they don't give me headaches.
Excellent achievement, Brandon, whoa! And the new specs are very stylish, too. As someone whose eyesight changed at fifteen myself, I've been wearing glasses for thirty-five years now. Hardly ever actually DO catch a long, stray hair in the frames, a concern I recall you'd voiced. Revel in your great progress, enjoy your new lenses, and, by all means, keep it growin'!
Yours in bespectacled, longhair'd camaraderie,
Quenyan
Quenyan, Mee too. Needed glasses at fifteen and have worn them ever since. That was 40 yrs ago. Put them on first thing in the morning and take them off just before i go to sleep!

Hi Brandon,
Your hair looks great in these photos, your trim went very well, and you now have the one length look which is what so many of us longhairs want, and it is so thick and healthy. Those are cool glasses as well. I have been fortunate enough never to have needed glasses in 54 1/2 years, but I am sure I will need reading glasses soon, as almost everyone at my age does.
Take care, and keep it growing,
David
Both through your new glasses and great looking trim !!
Glad you adapted to them quickly....I have always liked mine.

Hi Brandon,
Your hair looks great with the trim. Instead of looking like you've stopped getting haircuts for 18 months, you now look like you're maintaining long hair. :-) The glasses look great too, hope those new lenses work out better for you.
Brandon your looking great bro, the hair is awesome, very healthy and good looking, the trim really worked for you!
Hey Brandon! The trim turned out real good, even though your hair is slighthly shorter, you know have the all one length look, i've also thought about doing that once my hair gets to around shoulder length or somewhere.
Brandon, Your hair looks fantastic. Cool specs too!
peace, jonalbear
I'm glad the trim went well for you, lookin' great! The glasses look good on you and I'm glad you were able to adjust quickly. My first pair years ago made my head spin for two days before I got used to them.

The hair is looking wonderful as always. I also don't wash unless it can dry naturally before heading out. Since I work variable shifts, sometimes thats in the evenings, sometimes the mornings, usually on my days off.
You'll like the anti-glare coated lenses. They REALLY cut down on the annoying lights and make using a computer much nicer. The only problem I've ever had is that they seem to scratch easier than ordinary lenses. Clean gently to avoid scraping anything over the lenses. I had a big problem with mine while helping out with a construction project from all the dust and grit.

Hi Brandon I'm glad your having no problem getting used to your new glasses so it was money well spent. Your hair looks very good even though I'm not big on trims I understand why you had to and it turned out fine.
Take care
Kevin
