Hey, I've been lurking around these forums since I started growing my hair out, which is now a full year. My hair is a little more than shoulder length, and I love it! However, I've noticed some subtle changes in my hairs texture, it's not really dry, but it used to be quite smooth and silky and, I think it has to do with the conditioner I use. I don't shampoo often, but I've tried multiple conditioners and all of them seem to lose their initial effect.
I understand that most shampoos & conditioners have sulfates, and all that crap that can dry out your hair, so I want to make the switch to an organic conditioner that really works. I'm also curious as to if any organic leave in conditioner exists. I've never used a leave in conditioner, but I think it's about time I start.
Any help is appreciated!
I'm far from an expert on hair care and I was scared off from just buying cheap stuff off the store shelve with all the additives. I just did a Google search on Organic Hair Care Products and after read a few settled on Giovanni hair care line. The Tea Tree line shampoo and conditioner work good on my dry/course type hair. My hair doesn't tangle nearly as much and the stuff smells good all day.
ps. this is not a PAID advertisement for Giovanni! ;-)
