so i just started growing my hair out and i have some serious neck hair growing. i tried using my mach 3 but it didn't seem to get it all. i didn't actually use any cream though just hot water
should i go get it cut somewhere or just embrace it and call it a neck scarf
every 4 months i get a maintence trim and i always tell them to shave my neck hair off and is nice and smooth afterwards thats what i would do...hope this helps!
I'm fortunate that I have a patient wife who will take care of it for me. I certainly don't trust myself to not slip. I'm sure that if you tied your hair up well and used a couple of mirrors that with practice you'd be fine. Personally I'd suggest a set of electric clippers rather than a standard razor though - at least for the greater bulk of the hair.

I have always had my neck hair cut and I do it myself with 2 mirrors and Wahl Clippers. It takes a real steady hand.

The little neck fuzzies do not both me and I've never worried about a clean hairline but then again no vaneness here!

I leave it. I think it looks better that way. It's too much maintenance to keep it trimmed when in the long run it'll probably look better without trimming. I mean, unless you have wolf-man hair or something, then it might be worth it if you feel it gives you an unsightly look.
