Hi everyone, here i am again posting one of my updates, but they're not so good this time.As a matter of fact, these last days have been the worst days for my hair,as it is terrible after I shower, terrible after I air dry and terrible even after blowdrying it.I'm really by a thread of giving it all up,cause my hair is becoming more of a burden then something you're happy with.So far i've made two conclusions,im either straightening it chemically,or shaving it all of,which would really make my life A LOT easier, but i'm yet not sure about how stupid I would look with a shaved head.It has already been three months since my disastrous haircut, and now i miss my shoulder length hair more than ever.Do you think straightening my hair artificially would cause great damage to it?In the process there is no ammonia added, and it will be done by a very good hair dresser, who I trust very much, and with whom I have chemically straightened my hair before, and was a success. As always, comments appreciated, and no,i'm not posting any pics this time,as i'll probably scare you somehow XD.Peace.
There's a reason it's called the awkward stage. Perhaps you might look at changing your morning care routine. For one, the blowdryer is only going to make things worse. I do know that if I don't style my hair a certain way in the morning, it becomes extremely frizzy. Therefore, I slick mine back and let it dry naturally. Ends up straighter and smoother than it otherwise would. However, don't stress too much about it. Just try some different methods and see how it goes. Best of luck, Rafael. =)

Thanks for cheering me up guys, but i'm really looking forward to chemically straighten my hair, and I know it will be a success,as my hair is very thick,so i'll be fine.As for letting my heir air dry,the main problem is the bangs, because they become very frizzy and the ends keep sticking forward, making my hair look more of curly than str if i blowdry it,it becomes straighter, but very dry,so my hair care is driving me crazy Oo.Best wishes,I'll keep in touch, and my next updates might take a while, since im leaving the U.S to Brazil, and my computer only arrives there in May,because of shipment and stuff, ill probably have to use my grandma's laptop to use internet XD.Farewell.
I wouldn't go for the shaved head, but just me. If you've chemically straighten before with success then go for it. Personal, seeing your last updates, I don't see where your hair needs to be any straighter, but you've got to do what it take to be happy.
I think we try to look at problems with our hair and treat it topically, when in fact it has to do more with what our scalp is doing, or more specifically has to do with nutrition. Make sure you're eating a well balanced diet and drink plenty of water. Remember, you are what you eat.
Take care,
