Curly or straight? and why?
Straight, because that's my hair type, it's more managable, and it looks nicer (in my opinion). Wavy hair can look really nice too though.
Wavy looks and feels good. Straight looks 'dead' and boring to me while curly hair can cause a lot of frustration in growing out.
Its funny. I have shoulder length hair that is full, thick and a bit wavy. It kind of goes its own way.
Lately I have been having my hair done in a salon weekly. My stylist blow drys me first and then uses the flat iron.
When my hair is done that way, it looks like I have a bob or a page boy.
I like wearing perfectly straight hair for a change. After being flat ironed, its so smooth and silky and straight.
My hair looks similar to how many girls wear their hair and i like that.
I like wavy.
It's a nice medium. I have spiral curls though.
All long hair looks good in my opinion, however i like it when my hair is dead straight, it looks neater and is more manageable.
Straight; my hair type, easier to maintain, and I love the look of straight long hair.
Definitely Curly. . .While it is more likely to have problems with frizziness, it makes it insanely easy to grow dreadlocks.
Either. It depends on the person's natural genetics... to me, someone usually looks best when keeping to their natural look. Curly-haired people who straighten their hair will likely not look as good as if they were to leave it curly, and vice versa. Same goes for dyeing and such. Blondes usually look best blonde, brunettes look best with brown hair, etc.
Straightening is bad for your hair anyway, best to stick with what you've got.

I'd stick with your natural hair type whether that be curly or straight as it's alot easier. Why straighten something that wants be curly and vice versa. I have wavy thick and it's full of body and it's suits me fine and does not require alot of maintenance.
