This my first post here though I have been lurking for several months.
One question I've had bouncing through my skull is, now that I've decided to grow my hair long (3 months and counting with no cuts or trims), I've been looking in the mirror - at my head, not my hair. Do you guys think that there are some cases where the shape or contour of someone's head just does NOT lend itself to long hair? Or would you say that ANYONE with long hair is better than the same with short hair? Because I really want long hair, but I've heard from some people that you have to "have the right kind of head for it." Right now I'm going to go ahead and let it go, and then look at it when it's long and see what I think. Does anyone have any opinions? Or advice? Thanks in advance if you do.
I think the general consensus on this board is "what ever you like is the best for you."
As for "you have to have the right head" translat that to "you have to have the right mindset." To be a longhair in the mind and be a short hair on the head creates too much angst. Been there. done that. No fun.
Keep on growin'. Your head is perfect.
I'd say you have to have the right head for /short/ hair. If anything, you're covering whatever poor shapings your head might have...
Really, I don't think head shape is a factor in either case.
