Well, I had the first trim since October 2006, at least I hope I removed some split ends. Here's a random pic, I don't know if those are bun waves (I keep my hair in a bun after washing, it prevents from dripping everywhere) or natural waves. Maybe natural.
Excellent, Ale! What a truly titanic achievement! Really GRRRR8 length and look! And you're an artist as well. I am, too. Went to the School of Visual Arts aaand the Art Students League, both in Manhattan, although I'm largely self-taught. You?
Once again, Ale, your hair's an undeniably superlative achievement. You clearly invest a lotta time and effort into keeping it so healthy and beautiful. Congratulations! Very inspirational to all of us, I daresay.
Yours in longhair'd camaraderie,

Thanks for the compliments, I'm blushing!
As for my paintings, I'm self-taught at all, I started to make some stuff and I'm liking it, and I'll see if I can sell something..

That's some fantastic length Ale, all in great condition! Beautiful artwork and pictures too. Congrats on your wedding last year!

Impressive!!! Nice and long and thick!!!
Wow your quite an artist there and some great compositions that's for sure.
That a great update pic there and you hair is very thick and has a great shine to it and in great condition. I was just wondering what hair care products that you use. A truely inspiration length and do keep it growing.
Cheers,
John.B
Thanks John!
I just wash it twice a week with random shampoo or with conditioner only, and I put coconut oil on the ends when I remember I have a bottle of it -i.e, once a month, I don't think it has so much effect.
I'm lucky more than careful, actually..but much more careful since I gained extra length.
Geesh, your hair is so long... I can't wait T_T
Ayways... it looks great!!
That's some FINE lookin hair Ale!

Hi Ale,
What an impressive, LONG ponytail, and it is in excellent condition. Your hair is a genuine inspiration to guys like me with much shorter manes, although the chance I would be able to grow my hair that long is probably only a distant dream.
It appears that you are an artist! I have always admired those with artistic abilities, since my mom, who passed away 10 1/2 years ago, was a gifted artist.
Take care,
David
I would reckon they are natural waves and they look great. If that's after the trim then how much did they take off? You've got some impressive length going there.
Kevin
That might be the healthiest male hair I've seen at that length. So shiny. ^_^
Nice! Your mane will grow much longer than mine, while my goatee is much longer than yours. For our terminal length contest over on the BCBB, we can add our goatee and head hair lengths together to see who can grow the longest hair:)
No doubt, an inspiration for many of us here. Looks wonderful, Ale. =)

Your hair is lovely, and it is quite thick. Keep growing it for sure.

Wow, your hair looks just incredible! I'm happy that you had a good trim experience.

Ale, A very cool photo. You have awesome hair and a great beard!
peace, jonalbear
Thanks to all for the (too kind) compliments! I'm glad if I can be an inspiration for someone, as I have many inspirations around here..!
Looks great - really great. Your waves look natural, as far as one can see from a picture. Whatever, your hair looks really good.
So looong ! A lot of shine, also. And the thickness... :)
Bye
Vivien
your hair looks awesome, you should definately keep growing those locks and your beard too. Anyway how long did it take you to grow your hair that length?
@Tom: this is me in 2003,I think I started growing in that period, more or less..but it's been a stop-and-go process for the forst couple of years since then, I still had several trims in the meanwhile.
