So a few my customers at work have started to notice the hair growth, of which one of them was this really nice female with really long hair. I would say near belt length if not really close. Anyways she told me that twice a month she breaks up an egg and uses that to wash her hair with, and it helps to keep it shiny and healthy.
I did a little reading online about this but was just wondering if any of you guys had any helpful information or experiences about this?

ROFL. That might work, but some of the stuff people do to their hair is ridiculous. Not everything works, and washing hair with egg yolk is disgusting.
Hi,
yes, it's an old receipe to brow some shampoo with a little bit water, honey and an egg :)
Greetings
"...little bit water, honey and an egg..."
Honey??? I would think that would be "sticky". I remember the "old-timers" saying that an Egg and Beer" shampoo was good for your hair...of course it seems like a terrible waste of a beer ! HA!

Eggs have protien in them which helps strengthen the hair and bring in shine.
Some people's hair doesn't like egg, but if your hair is brittle it may help; protien helps to keep hair breakage away.
I've always heard that occassionally washing your hair with egg will help keep it healthy and strong.
Still, why "not for dinner?" In the words of Frank Zane, "an egg is about the healthiest thing you can put in your mouth." My parents keep about 8 egg-laying hens, so we've always got a steady supply of the farm fresh variety. Maybe once I've got some length back, I'll give it a try and report back to MLHH.

Yeah it works. Ive had a bit spill onto my head and the area that the egg touched was very shiny and soft lol. This is an interesting idea and i have not actually covered my entire hair with it but i guess i should try it one of these days.
And I try to keep my hair out of them.
