When I eat and dip my head, my hair on my head falls into my food if I'm not careful and haven't tied my hair back. Anybody else have this problem?
Marty
Haha, it's a part of being a longhair ! Althought I've rarely experienced this problem... Make your neck straight ?

Vivien
Maybe I need longer hair for it not to be so much of a problem. Mine is only shoulder length and doesn't go behind my back so easily. Looks like your shoulders hold your back more than mine would.

In my opinion, long hair is tastiest in soups or salads. Being a blonde, my favorite garnish for Black Bean Soup, for example, is when a lock of my hair falls into it, --- the color contrast is what I find most appealing!
A more subtle recipe for blonde longhairs is egg salad sanwiches...
First, make the sandwich (tying your hair back helps; but, just in case you're home and NOT at work, it's more fun and challenging to have your hair loose)...
Now, do one quick head-bang, ending w/ a backwards hair flip...
Eat quickly, but carefully (and with your head remaining in the tilted-back position). If any hair strands get into your mouth, stop chewing immediately, then slo-o-o-o-o-owly and carefully pull the protein strand(s) out.
With egg sald snadwiches, you get the added bonus of probably having some of the egg still in your hair. This makes for a good snack for later in the afternoon, --- although the small portion may not satisfy even the strictest dieter!
Ceasar Salad w/ hair garnish is my 2nd favorite, --- that delicious anchove & garlic dressing, combined w/ crunchy Romaine lettuce and homemade croutons w/ grated Parmesan cheese on top.... Mmm-mm!! I'm getting hungry just thinking about it; but, I'm out of all those salad ingredients in my frig today... Oh, well, --- at least I have my hair I can munch on!

I'd rather tie my hair up into a quick loose ponytail than get it in my mouth!!
Marty
Ken, Some very tasty recipes indeed! However, having brown hair with auburn highlights, I much prefer tapioca pudding or a nice seafood Alfredo sauce! lol

Your right Ken nothinb like a bit of hair to munch with the main course!

Yum Yum. Sounds so good ken, just like mother used to make.....only better! And of course ALL should be "buttered and basted" as that makes for the most delicious of all! Ummmmmmm, will have to sample some someday down at the ranch. YUM YUM! :-)
Hey, speaking of the ranch......ranch dressing. Yes! When I flip the hair on my head as I dip the bowl instead, I get a most marvelous portion of Pea Soup which appears in the next door neighbors house but with no hair in it. Can you imagine? Now HOW could that be possible? LOL
Great seeing you around these parts Ken. We really miss you.
all the best-
Justin~
Yes, I have this problem, too. :-) At home, I usually use two hair clips, one on each side of my head. Away from home, I usually have my hair in a ponytail. If for some reason I have my hair down loose and free and have to eat, I eat with my right hand and use my left hand gently to keep my hair from getting into the food.
I've never had the problem as it tends to stay behind my ears in on my shoulders and it's not such a great issue!
Cheers,
John.B
Ice cream, and pancakes with maple syrup, are best, because what gets in your hair is YUMMY!

LOL!! I have seen that one before Bill, but its still a gem!! :-)
Yeah, it's not like I collect lots of embarrassing beard-dripping-with-food pics.
Bill
I never eat with my hair loose.
Once a hair got into my mouth and down my throat for at least 6 inches, it was quite painful pulling it out..
