While I was sitting in the train yesterday, I thought I'd put together some images from old videotakes on my laptop. You can see the result via the link below.
As I was going through my music, looking for a song of about 2 minutes to accompany the video, I came across this Nina Hagen version of a song from the sixties, called If I were a boy. I thought it was somehow fitting because of its lyrics. It's about a girl who sings about the advantages of being a boy: you can wear trousers, come home late, drive around on your motor bike... but when her boyfriend kisses her, she loves being a girl after all. Rebellious as always, Nina Hagen changes the last part of the text: as a boy she would just go to gay bars and get her pleasure all the same.
The song reminded me of how long hair on guys is still controversial to many. 'If I were a girl, I could have long hair without problems...' Decades have past, but emancipation on both sides is slow...

Just took a look at your recent video slide show and as usual your hair is breathtaking.I don't know of any guy here,me included, who wouldn't love to have your hair quality with that fantastic length.Its just not something your going to see everyday.Sure I'll see longhaired guys daily but nothing like you have.Be proud and keep it forever:)Take care my friend.Mark
