^^ never knew that.
Oh well that must have accelerated my greying process them! Now that I've stopped smoking two years ago, why is my hair not turning back to brown anymore!
Cheers,

Wrong, it is not causal. It states that these variables are linked to premature graying, meaning it is either nonspurious, or the causality is in reverse (which is highly unlikely in this case)
It merely asserts a correlation, and also gives no information related to the methodology or the strength of the correlation.
Looks like 2/3 of my hair will be gray!
Coffee is magical; I'll just have to accept white hair I guess!
It's Pravda. No-one believed anything they wrote when it was the Soviet Union, so why now? Read some of their other articles. Nothing is researched properly.
I don't drink alcohol, don't smoke, don't drink coffee or soda's but I have been "greying" since I was 13. What would those scientists say about that, lol.
Well how good you are and I'd call that genetics!
Cheers,
John.B
Correct sir, on both sides of the family everyone has grey hair at about 30 years old, hehe.
Cheers

All these bad habits, some of which I am guilty of, affect an individual on a genetic level by intefering with gene telomers which are very small strands located on the ends of chromosomes. These are strands of information and they shorten with age. Furthermore, chemicals, solar damage, etc, tend to cause the telomers to prematurely shorten which, may cause, or, will cause, premature genetic expression, such as gray hair, hair-loss, etc.
It's kinda like a cigarette burning and as it continues to burn the fire reaches new information stored inside the cigarette and when it does that information is expressed. The bottom line is that eventually the fire burns out and we die.
I know, it sucks.
Well, have a good day! :)
