Not much of an update, but I've noticed my hair is layin much straighter on its own without brushing after hairspray. The hair was washed 2 days ago and hasn't seen any spray since then and is much straighter than normal. Is it normal for slightly wavy hair to go completely straight as it gets longer?
Depends on how wavy it is.
If there's only a slight wave, the weight of the hair can pull it out slightly, so it'd turn straighter. But brushing after hairspray? Using hairspray is extremely damaging to hair. XD and it would be straighter brushing after that because the particles would hold it down.
Hey Patrick how are things?
Some people have hair that straightens out as it gets longer.
Usually the ends are still a bit curly or wavy but the rest is
straight. Everyones different though.

Looking good, Patrick.
A lot of people find that their wave or curl falls with the weight of growth. It really depends on hairtype--for example course, versus fine. Everyone is different, and that's what makes this so much fun!

As hair gets longer I'd expect the ends of your hair to stay wavy, but hair closer to your head to get straighter, due to the weight of hair pulling on it.
For some people, such as if you have borderline wavy hair, humidity can be a big factor. This time of year much of the northern part of the U.S. has very dry air, which makes hair dry faster, and tends to minimize waviness. Conversely, on humid summer days, hair can be more wavy than usual. My hair is like that, and is at its best in the Spring and Fall with normal humidity.
As your gets longer it straightens out on it own. Although I've noticed that a little wave at the ends of my hair has reappeared. I think it may be due to the hooded sweatshirt I wear all day.
Looks good Patrick!
Keep on growin'

I can only speak for myself, but my hair is slightly wavy at a shorter length. But at the present (Between waist and belt line) it is quite straight as gravity must have excerted enough pull. I would at least "think" this would be normal. But then, much may be considered as to the hair-type you have which looks very much similar to my own.
Fine pictures Patrick - you are looking good.
the weight of the hair can pull some of the wave striaght. i dont believe that it will make ur hair comp. straight tho. if u do want to get ur hair really straight, even just between washes, get a straightening iron. if u get a good iron u dont even have to use a lot of product on ur hair. i mean, its an option =).
