Still growing - shall I continue I wonder. Being as I am in my 50s its not so thick as it once was but holding up pretty well. I am wondering whether age has anything to do with how long it could get if I left it........
WOW hair looks great! and I would have never guessed your age either by your hair there. Hope alls good.!!!!
Hi Firethorn,
Your hair looks awesome in this photo, it is healthy with lots of shine, and the colour is superb. You have a good amount of thickness for someone in your 50's, and age should not be a factor in how long you grow it. Although terminal length can be affected by age, there are guys in their 50s with extremely long hair. A perfect example is Scott (Absalom), who has knee length hair. So my opionion is to just let it keep on growing!
Keep it growing,
David
Well, your hair looks pretty darn thick to me. Also, it appears to be incredibly healthy and shiny.
Don't stop growing yet. It looks great!

The ends are quite thick. You won't have any difficulty growing your hair longer.
I've been wondering that myself for almost a decade (;-)

As a fellow 50+ year old (56) I am.....JEALOUS..... This looks superb, in good health and nice 'n thick. Age has a lot to do with it, when I was 20 I had hair down my back, at 56 is is getting there but I reckon at about 1/2" every 6 months.
Keep growing and never cut - you might find the problem I have, age slowing growth,
Your hair does look GREAT, I'm 52 and am hoping mine thickens up a bit more too, just 11 months into my growth.
Keep it growin!
Frank
You have excellent hair. I think you should at least try to grow it to full length. I am 55 and my hair reaches the tops of my knees, so don't let age stop you. If you want to see a photo of my hair, just ask. I can post one further down in this thread.

Wow..........for the 50's one could NEVER tell as your hair looks so great. I would have thought it was the hair of a 20 year old man. It looks fabulous! :-)
Keep it growing.
Ha! As soon as I saw your pic I automatically assumed that you were probably in your 20's. Just grow it and don't sweat the age thing.
jeffrey.
Your hair is doing fine. Let it grow. There are several of us here in our 50's (I'm 54) who are going after it. And there is only one way to find out, right?
