When have you guys been able to do it? I am at 13 months and I can succesfully tuck my hair behind my ears, but only when my hair is wet. The problem is that it's MUCH thicker when it dries and can't stay tucked for too long.
How many more months should I wait? :) It's probably not long enough because I trimmed the bangs twice in my 4th and 9th months.
Hey, I think my bangs are only slightly longer than yours, and I know your dilemma. I also have pretty thick, curly hair, and it seems like tucking any hair behind my ears is pretty unwieldy at this point. I've found the only tool useful for keeping hair out of my face when necessary is a bandanna or a strategically placed bobby pin.
Once your hair gets a good deal longer it shouldn't give you as much trouble. Just keep experimenting with different things and you'll likely stumble upon something that works for you.
I have a similar hair type to RyanK from looking at avatar pic and I had trouble with tucking my bangs behind my ears until month 15 or so. Now I am at 20th and they will rarely fall down :)
I've got the same problem and I'm at 19 months. They only stay tucked if I have most of my hair in a tail because of my hair's thickness. Not much help, but you're not alone.

I must have a different idea of the bangs behind the ears, because i thought i could already do that (although they snap back again when i even move)
What do you define as behind the ears
the front of your hair, with a middle parting, behind your ears
Yeah, i can do that with only around 5 inches, but it doesnt stay for long, i'm probably just lucky
I use BrylCreem on my sides and that helps keep it tucked. Slightly mullet-ish but I don't care.
