Hi. How do you know when it is the right thing to cut your hair? I have tried waiting 2 weeks (ended up being 3 months) and I still cannot decide. One day I hate it and it makes me lose confidence, the next I love it and wouldn't cut it for the world.
I'm very confused but lately I am leaning more towards cutting. If I do, I'll go for mid-length (any style ideas?)
Thanks everyone.
I guess our mothers are supposed to know, or some old people standing on streets, pointing at us their staff and yelling "go get a haircut!"
I think, the only reason I would ever go for a haircut would be to fix some worn out ends of the longest hair strands, and this would be possible when my hair will be about for a foot longer.
If you're unsure, either cut it just a little (be careful of stylists who don't follow directions), or don't cut it at all. You can cut your hair at any time if become certain you want to, but growing it back takes a long time.
Why do you hate it? Could you post a picture? It's likely people here will have suggestions for dealing any problems you're having with your hair.
My understanding is the two week rule kicks in here. You say
"the next I love it and wouldn't cut it for the world." At that
point my understanding is the two week rule goes out the window.
If you're going to cut it you need two solid weeks with
absolutely no doubt.
give it a lil time. there is nothing wrong with getting the ends trimmed =). all in all its ur decision with what u feel comfy with. get ur hair cut if U want too, not bc of what others say. its all up too u =)!
