I have 2 cowlicks in the back of my head (tufts of hair that tends to be unruly and will tend to pop up). They naturally want to stick straight up like alf alfa from the little rascals....anyone else have these and have advice about how to make them follow the rest of my hairs?

There's no fighting them. Just give in. Let them have their way.

what I try to do is let them dry in the same direction as the other hairs...my mom used to call this training my hair to go the right way. I think it sorta works while it's dry, but as soon as they get re-wet they do their own thing. Putting my dry hair into a ponytail helps too. Is this putting strain on the cowlick hair, though, and making them break since it's making them go against their natural tendencies?
