..As you've already probably guessed from the title,I pulled off a "britney" and cut my hair :((.And I'm not joking either,I wish I was :((
I cut it in June 2007.I roughly lasted 22 months without a haircut.I cut it because I decided to stay here in Rodos, Greece (all Greeks have to go through mandatory military service).when I'm finished with my military service I'm gonna grow it out again of course, but in the meantime...I'm gonna have to be one of those billions of short haired sheep :((
It's great to be back here thhough, either with long hair or not! :))
Dont worry man
military will be over before you know it and you will be able to let your hair grow again
Bro, yeah, we totally support you, the (expletive deleted) military REQUIRES that you get a buzz cut. Forget it. The political climate being what it is, esp. what with Cypress being fought over now as a leverage point in getting Islam into the European Union, duuuuude! We here at the Men's (and Women's) Long Hair Hyperboard completely support you. We'll see you back again, bro. You're one of us. Keep us posted, man. It doesn't make one iota of a difference that you had to go in. We'll see you back again and longhaired. And we're totally with you on this.
Seriously, in longhaired camaraderie,
Quenyan
Hi Jacob,
Welcome back to the hyperboard, and it is great to see you back again! Remember that you are ALWAYS welcome on the hyperboard, short hair or long, and once your military service is over, you will be able to grow your mane long once again.
Take care,
Dave
It's simply just a good thing to see you back on the site, Jacob. Hair will always grow back, and this site isn't going anywhere (as far as I know...), so don't feel like you have to apologize. Take care and stay well! =)

Jacob, you're still a longhair In spirit and will be again, physically, after you've done your service. Good luck and don't be a stranger.
Bruce
Whoa! Look who's back, Jacob! I was wondering if you'd ever come back! Hey man, how have you been? You still studying to become a Math genius or what? How are things over there in sunny Greece?
I'm really glad that you came back man, and don't fret over the haircut. It's just hair after all and it WILL grow back. Take care brother and welcome back!

Hi Jacob,
Good to see you back with us and hope all is well.
Alot of countries national service demand that you have short hair but now you've done it you just let it grow. I hope it was a usedul experience as well.
Cheers,
John.B
I'm just glad to see you posting some. That's kind of cool you stayed in Greece. I hope things are going well for you. Maybe the military service will have some fun things about it (like getting to practice zipping around in fast boats and such).
I saw a real cool show about "pankration," maybe they'll teach you that too.
So how much longer do you have to serve? You know, if you think about it, you are participating in a tradition nearly 3500 years old! Sorry, I am still all about Greece.
Although you have short hair now, we all know what you had and will have again, so post here lots and lots. Not all short hairs are sheep; there's a lot more to it than that ;-)
Welcome back, Jacob!
I would personally jump at the chance to serve in the military. I personally believe every person should serve their country in some way. I am not going to join however because of this war my country is involved in. It is illegal and immoral and I will have no part in it.
sorry to hear that. i am planning on joining the canadian armed forces soon and i am well aware that i will have to cut my hair as well. Whenever i think of that, i just remember that it will grow back, and i will at least leave some nice, long hair on the barbers floor.
